I’m interested in volunteering!
If you are interested in volunteering to provide either tech support or training, we would love to hear from you. If you would like to provide tech support, please let us know what areas of expertise you have along with what type of organization you would be interested in helping. If you are interested in providing training, please let us know your areas of expertise, along with any ideas you might have for sessions or webinars.

By signing up, you are registering for our monthly newsletter, as well as our monthly volunteer email, which is one of the main ways we communicate important info to you and keep you informed of all things PATH! Be assured though, we will never give out this information or spam you, and you can remove yourself from the list at any time.
I signed up. Now what?
After you submit the above form, you’ll receive log-in information for the help desk. We’d love for you to log-in every 7 – 10 days to see if there’s a case that interests you and the administrators will be logging in most days to check for new cases.
Occasionally, you may receive an email that a case was “assigned” to you. Don’t panic! You absolutely are NEVER required to take on a case. It’s just a suggestion based on your experience and interests. If this happens and you don’t want the case, please assign it back to the administrator who assigned it to you. Please don’t ignore it because if we don’t hear from you, we assume you have it covered.
I logged in & see a nonprofit I want to help
Please contact the nonprofit directly to find out more about their specific needs. This isn’t a guarantee that you are helping them though. It’s possible their request is too time-intensive and you can’t take it on as a volunteer. That’s okay. Just let them know why you can’t take their case and provide any appropriate recommendations.
Are there deadlines?
Nah, not really. You are volunteers. However, if a case is suggested to you, please decide to accept or decline within a few days. That way, we can offer the case to another volunteer without too much of a time lag. As for completing each case, please work that out with your nonprofit to determine how time-sensitive it is. If it’s something that needs to be done pretty quickly, and you just can’t get to it, that’s okay. Maybe one of our other fabulous volunteers can jump in.
Can I interact with other volunteers?
Sure! We would love to have you network with the other volunteers, add feedback, ask questions, etc. We have created a Google Group just for that. Just go to http://groups.google.com/group/path-volunteers and sign up for the group.
